If you’ve been around here for a while, you know something about me: I don’t just sell craft supplies. I care deeply about the women (and a few amazing men!) behind the glue guns, cutting mats, Cricuts, and packing tables.

Helping makers isn’t a marketing angle for me. It’s personal.

I’ve been the late-night bow maker with orders spread across the dining room table. I’ve been the Etsy seller refreshing stats. I’ve been the woman trying to turn creativity into income while still showing up for my family. I know what it feels like to wonder, “Is this going to work?”

And I also know what it feels like when it does.

That in-between space — the messy middle — is where most makers live. And I have a deep passion for walking through that space with you.

When I source planar resins and embellishments, I’m not just thinking about what’s cute (although let’s be honest… cute matters 😂). I’m thinking about what will help YOU stand out. What will make your bows, badge reels, keychains, earrings, fake bake projects — whatever you create — feel special.

Because here’s what I believe with my whole heart:

“When one maker rises, we all rise.”

There is room for all of us. The crafting world is not a pie with limited slices. It’s a growing table, and there’s always space for another chair.

Empowering makers means sharing what I’ve learned. It means talking about pricing confidently. It means encouraging you to use alt text on your listings. It means reminding you to raise your prices when you’ve outgrown your beginner phase. It means telling you that your talent deserves visibility.

I have built businesses. I have lost businesses. I have rebuilt. I have pivoted. I have learned lessons the hard way. And if I can shortcut that journey for you — even by a few missteps — I want to.

Because your creativity is not small.

Your glue gun projects are not “just crafts.”

Your shop is not “just a hobby.”

It’s courage. It’s risk. It’s vision. It’s legacy-building in real time.

Another thing I believe:

“Creative women are powerful when they stop shrinking and start building.”

I see so many talented makers underpricing themselves, apologizing for promoting their products, hesitating to show up confidently online. And I get it. I’ve been there too. It takes growth — and sometimes a community — to step into that next version of yourself.

That’s why I don’t just want to be a supply shop. I want to be a resource. A cheerleader. A mentor. A place you land when you need inspiration or strategy or just reassurance that you’re not crazy for chasing this dream.

If you’re building something — even if it’s small right now — I want to build alongside you.

Through this blog, I’ll continue sharing practical advice, mindset shifts, behind-the-scenes lessons, and encouragement for small shop owners. I’ll talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can grow stronger together.

You do not have to figure this out alone.

If this resonates with you — if you feel that little spark of “yes, this is me” — I’d love for you to join me.

Let’s do this journey together.

Subscribe to the blog at planarresins.com/subscribe and become part of a community of makers who are serious about growing, learning, and cheering each other on.

Because you’re not just crafting.

You’re building something beautiful.

And I’m so honored to walk this path with you. 💕✨
